A clear design journey, with decisions made in the right order

Phase 01

Concept

We learn how you live or work, then shape the direction, layout and materials.

Phase 01

Concept

We learn how you live or work, then shape the direction, layout and materials.

  1. 01

    Start the conversation

Choose WhatsApp, phone or email and share the essentials in the way that suits you.

Tell us the project type, location and broad timing. A member of the team reviews the enquiry and confirms who will own the conversation and what information will make the next step useful.

    Your input
Project type, location, preferred contact method and any key date already known.
    Stage outcome
A named contact and a focused discovery conversation.
  2. 02

    Discovery

Understanding your vision, lifestyle or business, and the brief behind the project.

A residential or commercial discovery conversation explores how you live or operate, the spaces you need, priorities, budget range, programme and who's involved in decisions. A site visit follows where useful, and what's agreed is captured in writing rather than left to memory.

    Your input
Existing drawings, inspiration, known constraints, budget range and the people involved in approval.
    Stage outcome
A shared project brief that everything else is measured against.
  3. 03

    Design curation

Your references are read and interpreted into a design direction built for how you'll actually use the space.

The team reads inspiration imagery and translates it into a direction suited to the people and place, not a copy of someone else's scheme. This is where a vision starts being defined through materials and design language, before layouts are drawn.

    Your input
Reaction to references, must-haves, dislikes and the level of design service you want.
    Stage outcome
An agreed design direction that guides every decision after it.
  4. 04

    Mood boards

Material and atmosphere direction is set and confirmed before space planning begins.

Palette, texture and material language are brought together so the feeling of the finished space is agreed early (warm or cool, quiet or dramatic) rather than discovered piece by piece once construction is underway.

    Your input
Sign-off on the material and atmosphere direction, including anything to exclude.
    Stage outcome
A confirmed mood and material language for the project.
  5. 05

    Space planning

Layouts are refined for flow, function and the way each space will actually be used.

Space planning tests circulation, adjacencies, capacity and technical constraints against the brief from stage 02. The goal is a layout that works before a single finish is specified.

    Your input
Review layouts, resolve functional priorities and confirm the preferred option.
    Stage outcome
An approved spatial layout ready for material selection.
  6. 06

    Material selection

Finishes, stone and joinery are specified against the agreed design and space plan.

Material and finish selections are documented alongside supplier information and notes in one reference set, so design, procurement and site teams are all working from the same decisions.

    Your input
Approve material direction, scope boundaries and any value-engineering decisions.
    Stage outcome
A signed-off material and scope reference ready for the next stage.

Phase 02

Technical Design

The design is visualised in 3D and resolved into an exact, buildable package.

  1. 07

    3D visualisationOptional stage

Your project brought to life before construction begins. An optional, enhanced design service.

For clients who want to see the design before committing to build, we produce 3D visualisation of key spaces: an enhanced service layered on top of the core process, not a requirement of it.

Projects that skip this stage move directly from the approved material and scope reference (stage 06) into technical design (stage 08).

    Your input
Review the visualisation and confirm any final adjustments before technical design.
    Stage outcome
A visualised design, seen and approved before construction commitments are made.
  2. 08

    Technical design

Drawings, specifications, approvals and procurement are finalised as one coordinated package.

The team coordinates technical design, authority and consultant interfaces, procurement and shop drawings against the agreed scope, so construction starts on a fully resolved package rather than one still being figured out on site.

    Your input
Respond to any authority or technical queries that need your input.
    Stage outcome
    A construction-ready technical package.

Phase 03

Build & Manufacture

Construction, FF&E and in-house joinery, run as one programme by one team.

  1. 09

    Construction & FF&E

A fully managed build under one roof, including in-house joinery manufacturing.

Construction, in-house joinery production and FF&E procurement move forward together against the agreed programme, with communication rhythm, responsibilities and quality checkpoints confirmed for the individual project.

    Your input
Respond to scheduled approvals and variations through the agreed communication route.
    Stage outcome
A coordinated build progressing against the agreed scope and programme.

Phase 04

Completion & Handover

Styled, checked and handed over.

  1. 10

    Styling & handover

Furniture, art and accessories are curated, then the finished space is inspected and handed over.

Furniture, art and accessories are completed where included, followed by inspection, snagging and close-out. You receive the relevant handover information and the aftercare route agreed in the contract. No generic warranty promise substitutes for project-specific terms.

    Your input
Attend final reviews, confirm snag close-out and receive the agreed handover information.
    Stage outcome
A finished space, ready to live in or operate from, with a clear route for aftercare.

Before you ask

What most people are quietly wondering

I don't know where to start.

That's what stage 01 is for. You don't need a brief, a budget or a Pinterest board. Just a way to reach us.

I've never built or renovated before.

The discovery conversation is built for exactly this: it asks the questions you wouldn't know to ask yet.

I've had a bad experience with a contractor.

One team holds design, construction and joinery together, so there's a single point of responsibility, not a chain of subcontractors to chase.

I don't really understand drawings.

Space planning and, where included, 3D visualisation exist so you can see and approve a design before construction starts, not after.

I'm not sure what my budget should be.

Budget range is discussed openly at stage 02, and material and scope decisions are recorded so costs stay traceable rather than surprising.

I don't know if I need architecture, interiors, or both.

That's a discovery conversation, not something you need to arrive knowing. We scope it together once we understand the project.

I don't know if I need 3D visualisation.

It's optional by design. Some clients want to see a space before committing; others are comfortable approving from drawings and material references alone.

Before you contact us

What is useful to have ready

Nothing here is required to start. It simply helps the first conversation reach useful decisions sooner.

  • The property address or plot location, or a general area if that's not decided yet
  • A rough sense of budget range, even if it's broad
  • Any inspiration images, saved projects or reference material you already have
  • Existing drawings, surveys or approvals, if the property already has them
  • A general sense of timeline or any key dates that matter to you
