Villa Alba
The project
The house is reached along a straight stone path between palms, and that calm carries inside. The living space is one long room of deep modular seating facing a slatted oak media wall, with the dining table beyond it. The stair is treated as a piece of joinery rather than a core: each tread is lit from beneath and the void under it is planted. Upstairs, the bathrooms are clad in white marble with a strong grey vein, set against a black freestanding bath and backlit mirrors, and the dressing areas use bronze-tinted glass so the wardrobes glow at night.
Scope of works
- Interior design and space planning
- Bespoke joinery, media walls and wardrobes
- Marble bathrooms and vanity units
- Lighting: cove, step and backlit mirror details
- Furniture, styling and installation

From the sample table
Chosen in the hand, not on a screen
Finishes are selected in the studio from physical samples: stone slabs, timber and terrazzo trays, and yarn and colour boards for rugs, laid out against the drawings before anything is ordered.
