Villa Serena
The project
A residence built around daylight. The plan opens through a double-height living volume to the pool terrace, with arched steel-framed glazing used as the one repeated gesture that ties the living, dining and kitchen spaces together. The material palette stays deliberately narrow, travertine and pale oak carried across floors, joinery and stone, so the architecture reads as one continuous surface rather than a series of decorated rooms. Bespoke joinery was designed and manufactured in-house, which is what allows the wall panelling, kitchen and integrated furniture to meet on the same lines.

From the sample table
Chosen in the hand, not on a screen
Finishes are selected in the studio from physical samples: stone slabs, timber and terrazzo trays, and yarn and colour boards for rugs, laid out against the drawings before anything is ordered.
